Writing book reviews differs from writing a book report, in that you are not solely summarizing the book, but reflecting on another's work from your own point of view. A book review also differs from "rating" a book on a forum such as Goodreads. Try to think of these three items as you write:
- Description: the summary of what the book is about, the author's tone, the genre, point of view, etc.
- Evaluation: your opinion on the book- be honest!
- Analysis: the examples from the book to support your opinion
